INTRODUCTION

Khushab District is located in Punjab, Pakistan. It had a population of 905,711.It has two tehsils, Khushab and Nurpur. It is located between District Sargodha & Mianwali near river Jehlum. A town called Jauharabad is the headquarter of this District, all main admistrative and other Government offices are in that town.

Khushab District is the only District of Pakistan which has river, lakes, valley, deserts. The Soon Valley is one of the famous valleys of Pakistan .

Awans, Baghors,Sagu,Baloch, Tiwana, Muslim Seheik, jutt, Malik, Syed, are famous tribes of Khushab.
