>Qila Saifullah is a small town located in Balochistan, Pakistan. The population of the town is 140,000 as of 2005. The rural population consists of 80% of the total population. The town mostly consists of brick houses, and small corner shops, with some small industries. The city is situated at a height of 2,768 ft. During winter it is very cold and during summer it is very hot.

Qila Saifullah has a small industry, making mostly consumer goods for domestic export. There is limited farming, mostly of grapes. Many people also herd sheep and lamb in the area.

Qila Saifullah was founded in 1438 A.D. by Saifullah Ali Khan, a mughal poet. The town grew and soon became a major city by 1600 A.D. The town continued thriving until 1827 A.D., when British troops attacked Qila Saifullah to destroy resistance from its residents. The town regrew under British control, but in 1938 was completely destroyed by a devastating earthquake. The remaining residents eventually re-built the town. Since then, the town has barely grown and has had the same population for around 50 years. In 1998, a bypass was created on the outskirts to ease traffic flow. Because of this, many cars take the bypass to avoid Qila Saifullah, and not many new residents are arriving.
